This evening as I was walking home from church eating goldfish crackers I heard a "Hey" as a woman around my age exited a building. I was near work, so thinking it was a resident I turned around to wave and say "Hi" back, but then I realized that it was a girl I had sat with on the plane on my way to New York. Her and I had had a great conversation and I had wanted to become friends with her but wasn't sure how. I had to get back home but she said "I guess we are supposed to be friends" so I asked her for her number. She said she takes a French class every Tuesday in that building so I'm going to ask her if next Tuesday after class she would like to get a drink. Do you think that's weird? I just really never thought I would see this woman again. How awesome is that?!?!
(It doesn't hurt that she's cute...)

So I've been slacking like there's no tomorrow, which is totally unlike me since I'm normally like over a week ahead on my reading, and now, as it turns out, I am a day behind!!! Oh heavens!
But seriously. Slacking is fucking amazing! I had no idea what I'd been missing! I really do need to take more advantage of my slacker major! I have rejected not a single social invitation (even it was only to watch tv with someone) for work reasons since the semester started. It's absolutely wonderful to allow myself to get blown in the direction of whatever floats my way. And terribly irresponsible. I'm living on the edge, folks!
